Oga Micky swept three categories at the Abia Music Awards in 2016 for Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Collaboration. His relentless creativity shined the following October when he released four distinct tracks every week in a genre-bending series he dubbed "Wavetober," earning praise from fans and the industry alike and securing production credits from top Nigerian producer Killertunes.
With breakout success from his hit track "Carpenter" featuring Bosalin, Oga Micky has since collaborated with artists like Slowdog, Jaywillz, Killertunes, Donseth Beatz, Gentle, Flexy W, Switch Carter, Smarshilo, Yuzybeatz, Cnew, 2gentu, Kezyklef, Benjamz, and Jambaze since his debut in 2014, cementing his name in Nigerian Indigenous rap.
