OH-4 is a boundary-pushing rap duo born from the raw energy of the UK underground. Comprised of Welsh wordsmith SHANEO and Birmingham-born firestarter Brok3n hrt, the pair bring an explosive contrast of grit, emotion, and eerie duality to the scene.
At the core of OH-4 is a dark duality: each artist hides a shadow-self. SHANEO slips between his cold, calculated self and the unpredictable presence of his alter ego, Shabby — a twisted, more chaotic voice lurking beneath the surface. Meanwhile, Brok3n hrt balances between introspection and rage, often surrendering the mic to kyekye, his emotionally unhinged, brutally honest second identity.
Meeting through an online community of alternative and experimental artists, SHANEO and Brok3n hrt bonded over their shared love for moody production, sharp lyricism, and emotional storytelling. From that digital spark, OH-4 was born — a name paying tribute to the year they were both born: 2004. It’s a symbol of their shared generation, their roots, and their mission to redefine what 2000s-born rap sounds like.
Their debut single, “Murderer,” dropped like a weapon — a haunting track that showcases the chemistry between their two personalities and their alter egos. Switching flows like split personalities and lacing each verse with menace, “Murderer” is more than a song — it’s a statement of arrival.
OH-4 isn’t just a group. It’s a warning.
