Oh Hazar resides where contrasts meet. Inspired by German expressionism, film noir, The White Stripes and St. Vincent this Dutch band brings an addictive musical trip of alternative art pop, indie rock and postpunk. In their songs they hit universal themes like power, impotence, loneliness and never being alone in the age of attention. Their debut EP Clair Obscur is produced by Simon Akkermans (Pip Blom, MY BABY, New Cool Collective) and is inspired by the painting style known for its stark contrasts between light and dark.
