Oh Never Mind is an alt-rock band from Pleasant Hill, California, a suburb of San Francisco. They have similarities to, and influences from bands like Coldplay, Radiohead, and Alt-J. With their one of a kind vocals, driving piano riffs, and drifting melodies, Oh Never Mind is a new upcoming sound.
The band formed in 2015, but the idea started three years earlier between then middle school students Cameron Wilson, who had recently started writing music, and Max Morehead, who loved playing guitar. Neither could sing very well though, and Oh Never Mind stayed an idea until Cameron heard Bassoonist Keeley Waite sing one line of Boulevard of Broken Dreams on the bus to a school orchestra concert, and convinced him to sing for his band. Max and Cameron then recruited Peter Tolentino and Jae Im to complete the lineup. Originally they called themselves the Lift Masters, after the garage door opener in Max's garage, but changed their name to Oh Never Mind, as to be easier to find online.
In August of 2017, Oh Never Mind recorded their EP, Suspension of Disbelief, and released it that October. In early 2020, Keeley and Cameron recorded and released their new single Waves of Change.
