Ointment Appointment

Ointment Appointment is a six piece indie pop/rock band based out of Northfield, Minnesota.


Colin Kolasny (guitar/vocals and keys/vocals in <a href="spotify:artist:1VRGL3j1znVg4TWuV8lLZk" data-name="Corn on My Dinner Plate">Corn on My Dinner Plate</a>), Branden Ma (keyboard/vocals), and Devin Cuneen (guitar) began writing Ointment Appointment songs in their freshman year at St. Olaf college. The band was made full by Max Voda (bass), Elijah Clements (drums), and later Weber Anderson (tenor saxophone). In late 2018, Kevin Yetter joined the group as the drummer and was recorded on all tracks since “Sconce.”


The group&#39;s debut single <a href="spotify:track:0EdiOKkgEzhGEBO3D4Dtii" data-name="Book">Book</a> released in July of 2018 and it is the second track of eight on their album <a href="spotify:album:6Z4KFYtGNXdiofNS1ntXu9" data-name="Sconce">Sconce</a> which released in September 2018. <a href="spotify:track:3dzSAlbS3wCXmm2zi9bMTe" data-name="Chump">Chump</a>, the single from the group’s 2019 record <a href="spotify:album:7of5CR0JGAvClmlNh1Fjk8" data-name="Pink Ribbon Sun (feat. Blue Chameleon)">Pink Ribbon Sun (feat. Blue Chameleon)</a> released last September. This record features musical stylings from string quartet <a href="spotify:artist:6WsLP3bPfPFzJ0rMx2SF2C" data-name="Blue Chameleon">Blue Chameleon</a>, as well as some trumpet performances from Eric Holdhusen and auxiliary percussion by Anders Olson.
