Ojo the Kidd

OjoTheKidd is a 24 yr old Rap talent/Artist. He launched his career at the young age of 13 when he discovered he had a knack for writing rhymes and delivering quick, thought provoking rap verses.

With encouragement from a mentor in his local church community, he began performing at local rap battles where he quickly made a name for himself as rising MC in the underground Hip Hop scene. His continued win of record number of competitions led to some national press coverage by the age of 14 and solidifying his position as one of hiphop/raps strongest MCs.

The following years saw him spotlight several notable festivals including Longitude, body and soul as well as hone his craft listening to and being influenced by a choice few rap greats including Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad and School boy Q, the later of whom he had the opportunity to meet and open for as support artist.

He Also supported Kanye West’s own protégé 070 Shake in a sold out show that received rave reviews.

Now returning to the mic ready for his project’s first release, he is currently fine-tuning his debut EP. Confident in his body of work, he reintroduces himself to the world as OjoTheKidd.
