Okiemute

Okiemute Ighorodje, artiste name “OKIEMUTE” born in delta steel company limited (D.S.C) Aladja, Delta state, Nigeria.
Singer, actress, and model was born on November 16th, 1990. She stated singing at an early age competing in local street competitions. As a child singing in the street, she always wowed the neighbourhood with her melodious voice and dancing ability. At age 14, she became a studio vocalist this experience help expose her to different genre of music.
On a musical front, Okiemute took to centre stage as a solo artiste when she won the MTN PROJECT FAME WEST AFRICA SEASON 9 in 2016, after which she released her first single titled “GOOD LUVING” which was produced by kezyclef and the video was directed by Clearance Peter, which transcended into her 5 track EP titled PH610 in 2017. This recording became a huge success for her both commercially and critically. On the EP, Okiemute worked with a number of different producers including Masterkraft, kezyclef, Gospelondebeatz and Twinbeatz. Okiemute held her first ever concert in November 18th, 2017 themed “OKIEMUTE THANK YOU CONCERT”. On her own she continued to enjoy great success. She released another single titled “AFRICIAN WONDER” in June 2018 and another single titled “WOSA” in November 16th 2018. she released the visual for her single WOSA. The video was shoot by Unlimited LA.
