Old Arrows began in 2011 when guitarist Chris Woodhead found bassist Dennis Prendergast and drummer Scott Slomeana after relocating from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. They released their 8 song debut, Blackhawk Waltz, in 2013.
During the recording of their next release, 2015’s 10 song full length, Proof of Past Lives, keyboardist/vocalist Carin Smith was added to the lineup and contributed several songs. Prendergast moved to guitar, and recent Utah transplant, Adrienne Robson, was added to fill the bass role.
This five piece was short lived, and by 2017, the lineup that released the four song Rebuild You EP consisted of Woodhead, Prendergast, Robson, and new drummer Chris Galinskie.
This solidified combination released a series of double A-side singles in 2019: Don’t Turn Away/Crash & Burn, The Future Is Fine/Battle Mountain, and Honest Fear/Been So Long, to round out a year of focused writing and recording.
