Olha Balandiukh (a.k.a. OLVIA) — Ukrainian singer, violinist, artist, model.
Olha was born on July 25th, 1995 in Drohobych, Ukraine. Currently lives in Lviv, Ukraine.
She took part in «The Voice of Ukraine»; the opera-myth «Ukraine - Terra Incognita»; the International Jazz Festival «Jazz Bez XX»; a concert of Ukrainian music «Kovcheh. Ukraine»; the Ukrainian-Canadian music project «Ukrainian Artists United», which highlights the Russian-Ukrainian war; a performance «Act 1. Echo», which emphasizes the role of artists in the midst of war; a folk-jazz project «Outernational»; and «Trilogy - Ukrainian Women: Artists».
Olha has a musical project titled «The Voice of Ukrainian Nature» and released her album «The Garden of Cosmic Songs». Her vocal type is contralto, with a range covering about three octaves, from A2 (throat singing) - C3 to C#6. She sings in various styles, including throat singing, folk, jazz, opera, overtones, and undertones.
In 2023, she published a fantasy book «The Twentieth Planet from the Sun». Olha also released her poetry book «In the Threads of Chaos», 2024.
