Oli Pop

Oli Pop (Olivera Popović) is a versatile artist ranging from dream pop and r’n’b pop to electronic dance music.
She was born in Sombor, Serbia on 18th July 1990, and has been heavily influenced by female artists including PJ Harvey, Soko, Grimes, Hole, Lorde, Le Tigre, etc.

Oli Pop started her career by forming a pop band “Pop Ups” in which she was an author, singer, and a guitar player. They released their first single “Osmeh” in 2009. Later on, she opted for a solo career and spent several years performing as a singer-songwriter on an acoustic guitar on festivals across the region.

In 2018, Oli meets Mizu (Milica Uzelac), a guitar player, and forms a dream-pop duo featured in a national TV show “Žigosani u reketu” with two songs “Meduza” and “Neobjašnjive stvari” in 2019/20.

In 2020, Oli performs alongside Milan Bujaković on Beovision, a Serbian contest for Eurosong and reaches finals with the song “Niti”.

In recent years, Oli Pop has released four singles. The most recent one is “Kriva" ("Guilty") which discusses SA and DV.

She had also collaborated with Sevdah Baby, A.N.D.R., Coby, Kat Cardoso, Dubak, etc. as a lyricist and a vocalist.

Her debut album is in the making.
