"Winter Wind" is Oli Spleen's latest single, a collaboration with Steve "Banjo" Johnson.
On April 1st 2022 Oli Spleen’s fifth studio album “Still Life” was released. The album covers themes of mortality, grief, life, death, refugees, the environment, nature and mass extinction. It was recorded with <a href="spotify:artist:5xVC0EcMc0RQDw3u5Piyu5" data-name="Mishkin Fitzgerald">Mishkin Fitzgerald</a> and members of her band <a href="spotify:artist:0i5XBpK4mGqUbfmKKp3bXU" data-name="Birdeatsbaby">Birdeatsbaby</a> with guest appearances from <a href="spotify:artist:5t6l342JKBDVl2NFddWOJl" data-name="Nick Hudson">Nick Hudson</a>, Tristram Arnold, <a href="spotify:artist:50np8ZNKgMJMtU4WiEfZis" data-name="Stuart Warwick">Stuart Warwick</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4Uw8H6uPFKULX5jxB8HGZ8" data-name="Merlin Shepherd">Merlin Shepherd</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:5XnHFQI7KOrEcVAfpokIPk" data-name="Polina Shepherd">Polina Shepherd</a>.
February 2021 saw the realise of "<a href="spotify:album:2fjnVT7j141rE5ZasPxsf7" data-name="The Eagle & The Dove">The Eagle & The Dove</a>", featuring three cover songs and guest vocals from <a href="spotify:artist:3M9P4lMNa1WX2ELhX9BbeZ" data-name="The People Underground">The People Underground</a>'s Catherine T. "<a href="spotify:track:1zSTjrWRY10Lc0l1CoIsw8" data-name="L'Aigle Noir">L'Aigle Noir</a>" was Oli’s first attempt at translating a song, originally by inspirational French chanteuse <a href="spotify:artist:4TNiKyCX2oCvdo1sTgHcRw" data-name="Barbara">Barbara</a>.
In 2019 Spleen released their second studio album "<a href="spotify:album:14wyeA84cN9VVsgTyXvwYD" data-name="Gaslight Illuminations">Gaslight Illuminations</a>", a work which incorporates themes of psychological manipulation and the emotional fallout of a toxic relationship.
In February 2020 the covers album “<a href="spotify:album:6hWmQ8q8GFhu1Pg0XkUzXj" data-name="Flowers for Foot Foot">Flowers for Foot Foot</a>” was released and in June that year, the HIV / AIDS themed, "<a href="spotify:album:1X1NEquujO94hu1Bkzt3Zv" data-name="Night Sweats & Fever Dreams">Night Sweats & Fever Dreams</a>”. Both feature collaborations with <a href="spotify:artist:5t6l342JKBDVl2NFddWOJl" data-name="Nick Hudson">Nick Hudson</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:5CxsNgEPz9v8iBgO52VUUd" data-name="The Academy Of Sun">The Academy Of Sun</a>.
