With catchy melodies and a universe blending multiple facets of pop rock, Oliver Light pays tribute to England with influences such as Muse, The Beatles, and Arctic Monkeys.
Oliver Light discovered music at the age of 14, thanks to a guitar gifted by his grandfather. Self-taught, he began instinctively composing in English, drawing from British rock to create a pop-rock world that merges dreams and disillusionment.
After a self-produced debut album, The Clockwork Within (2017), Oliver formed a new band and returned with a post-Covid EP: The Bright Side Of It All (2023). Recorded at the Garage Hermétique studio in Nantes, this five-track record blends songs written in his teenage years with new creations.
Through the lyrics of this EP, Oliver explores surrealism and contemplation, even weaving reflections on love with a touch of time travel in the title track and standout single, Find A Way To Love.
Following the release, the singer—joined by Max TANRYNN (bass and backing vocals), Richard PITRÉ (drums), and Quentin BÉNIZEAU (lead guitar and backing vocals)—hits the road across France, leaving a strong impression, notably sharing stages with -M-, Joseph Chedid, Olivia Ruiz, and La Zarra.
On stage, their performances reflect values essential to the artist and his band: connection and harmony.
Not to be missed under any circumstances.
