Oliver Sylo

Oliver Sylo was accompanied by the music from day one. Influenced by his father, he learned to play the piano at an early age. A little later the electric bass was added, which resulted in various activities in bands.
In the year 2000 the man from Freiburg found his big love - the Technics-SI 1210. From then on there was no going back.

Originally House was probably most fond of him, but over the years he clearly developed in the direction of more technoid sounds.

In the following years he played as resident on the Sea You (Freiburg, GER), the Drifters Club (Freiburg, GER) and the Fusion (Lärz, GER). With his inimitable warm nature and the perfect feeling for the right track at the right moment, he soon gathered a fast growing and very loyal fanbase around him. "You don't always have to club your sound through, but a DJ has to read the audience and serve them," says Oliver Sylo. His sound is versatile, driving, melodic, technoid, groovy. And we love it.

But the hunger drove the young Oliver Sylo further, the playing alone was no longer enough for him. And so he developed from DJ to producer. Meanwhile Sylo has released on RunDeepRec, 3000 Grad, Supdub, Wired Music and some others.

But Oliver Sylo wouldn't be Oliver Sylo if he didn't bring his homeland to the centre of his work here. And so the foundation of his own label „Heimatliebe Records" followed in 2016.
