Olivia Awbrey is a songwriter based out of the rural Oregon Coast Range. A first-generation musician, Olivia has released an EP and album on their own Quick Pickle Records, which they founded to support the release of independent music in Oregon. Their debut album, Dishonorable Harvest, was an overseas collaboration with My Bloody Valentine’s touring guitarist, Jen Macro, as well as a cohort of London and Portland-based friends and musicians. While building up their Northwest following, and becoming better known in UK touring circuits, Olivia has played hundreds of shows in the last half decade opening for Japanese Breakfast, The Beths, Mal Blum, Fink, Jonathan Richman, and many others. Their music has been reviewed or recommended by Flood Magazine, Refinery29, and NPR. They are the recipient of grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council in Portland, the Oregon Arts Commission, and the GRAMMY Foundation. Come live touring again, Awbrey is set to appear at Treefort Music Fest, Rx Fest, Sled Island, Steamboat Stringband Jamboree, Wilsonville Festival of Arts, Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts, and more. They are currently learning to cast vinyl by hand and working on their next album.
