Olivier Libaux was a composer and guitarist who started his career in the 80’s with the neo-pop band Les Objets, followed by two poetic storytelling albums, <a href="spotify:album:3YukzRgIviGjzCgzwbykkO" data-name="L'héroïne au bain">L'héroïne au bain</a> (2003), then <a href="spotify:album:3Qj27TYXblYU7vGexUnCzL" data-name="Imbécile">Imbécile</a> (2007). These albums included such artists as <a href="spotify:artist:61NKNrhSMTYg2q0f3vS46e" data-name="Philippe Katerine">Philippe Katerine</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4nclLyMzRhXUJvQU89sTm6" data-name="Helena Noguerra">Helena Noguerra</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1JD5AxCamcPAICtruZai4s" data-name="JP Nataf">JP Nataf</a>.

At the time of his sudden passing in September 2021, Olivier had just completed a project around the music he cared about the most and was the most inspired by, specifically the iconic electronic, rock, and post punk bands of the late 70's and 80's. Artists who included The Stranglers, Billy Idol, Kraftwerk, The Police, Talking Heads… For this final album, he collaborated with the singers <a href="spotify:artist:2Sk0H4rS0QuQESESHELFy0" data-name="Mélanie Pain">Mélanie Pain</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6xexoIU7343bCTpIhrl8Ii" data-name="Élodie Frégé">Élodie Frégé</a> and Marion Grébert, and Raphaël Chassin, co-director of the album, on percussion.
