$olution was born in Brooklyn New York and bred in Flatbush / Midwood. Raised by his mother with an absentee father, he took to the streets, learning from the o.g's the tricks of the trade. $olution was also a graffiti artist and he wrote Solu all throughout New York City. He dominated the scratch tag scene on NYC trains. Going through many trials and tribulations, $olution found an outlet through music to channel his pain and his thoughts. In the late 90's / early 2000's, he began rapping in his best friend's basement, recording freestyles using a mic and a cassette tape recorder. $olution is a pure artist in many forms. With his versatile flow and street rawness, forming words as a poet you'll hear his real life story. His mixtape Fire To The Sky is out now on Coast2coastmixtapes and MyMixtapez.
