Olympic Pool Maintenance League

Born in Invercargill, New Zealand and now based in Brisbane, Australia Olympic Pool Maintenance League (OPML) creates techno that feels sculpted—an evolving exploration of texture, rhythm and immersive atmospheres. Emerging from a visual-art background, OPML treats each track as a sonic installation, where hypnotic grooves meet delicate, shifting detail.

Recent milestones include DJ So’s set at the renowned Parallel Festival (July 2025), where he played OPML’s Lovely Light Show (Maintenance League Records), and DJ Yazi dropping Hearing (Unknown Territory Records) during Mindgames Balance at Hodaigi Campground (May 2025).

OPML’s discography spans international labels such as Mord (Bareknuckle Boxing Vols. 1–3, Herdersamt Box Set 34–40), Postdynamic (New Faces Vol. 1+2), Sunora (The Warp Order LP, Dawn Wind, Fook Yue Remixes), Occultech, and Brisbane’s Pocketmoth. A 2023 debut vinyl EP on Diffuse Reality featured remixes from Giorgio Gigli and Head Front Panel.

Through the imprint Maintenance League Records, OPML curates forward-leaning techno and experimental works, while live performances merge layered sound design, ambience and rhythmic structures with entrancing video art.
