Oma Da Pro is a vocalist, songwriter and producer from the tiny island of St. Thomas in US Virgin Islands.
Starting out as just a songwriter from 2005-2014, the artist has co-written many singles and remixes with <a href="spotify:artist:45JoqACfgzbob2qqG505ys" data-name="AK The Artist">AK The Artist</a>. In 2015, he then decided to take his talents a step further and produced works with other local USVI artists like <a href="spotify:artist:1RseMBlV9kMVp31N98Du4p" data-name="N'ergi">N'ergi</a>, Wally Kyat, <a href="spotify:artist:7ekRy5abaTldIDE6rTbgBQ" data-name="Ganjanero">Ganjanero</a>, K Victoria, Pac-Man, <a href="spotify:artist:11Vaj1BsdkaNAVckFcSyK3" data-name="Big Abyss">Big Abyss</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6QPh5P2K8tSvlrAgL7tRXV" data-name="Sickalous">Sickalous</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2dWFdpHxe3kRvkcImy1AuT" data-name="King Lion Defuture">King Lion Defuture</a>, Icarus, X-Capone, YCD and Dani. Oma Da Pro also produced rhythm compilations with several artists from Jamaica including Aidonia’s 4th Generation camp: Jayds, Onton, Govana, and Patience.
Silently writing and perfecting his craft, he finally decided to let his works be heard by his musical family who are his hardest critics, local artist N’ergi, international reggae artist Pressure Busspipe and crew, international reggae artist Niyorah (brother) and Alvin Marks of LP Records. They were all blown away by his talent and encouraged him to release his works.
