Oma Jali is a multifaceted artist. Originally from Cergy, France, this singer-songwriter first came to prominence when she took second place in the Sankofa Soul Contest in 2015. However, it was in 2016 that she really stood out during her appearance on The Voice 5, revisiting Dire Staits' "Money for Nothing" with a trap/rock twist. In 2017, she became the frontwoman of The Noface, alongside the four musicians from Skip the Use.
Together, they toured numerous festivals and released "Chapter One" in 2017, a rock album composed by her and the band that brings her unmistakable hip-hop/soul/reggae touch.
Since 2022, Oma Jali has accompanied Italian artist Zucchero and his prestigious musicians on the international scene as a vocalist.
Today, she launches his solo career with his first EP, "CHALLENGE", scheduled for release "&st October 2025, on which she collaborated with the producer Jean Lamoot ( Alin Bashung, Noir Désir), and Steve Desgarceaux ( Shaka Ponk ).
A raspy voice over raw, distorted, heavy guitar lines, with well-constructed drum grooves and sing-along melodies: all the ingredients that make you want to see a live performance of Oma Jali.
