Oma Softspot

Oma Softspot is a Triple Threat who found passion for singing and dancing around the age of 7, unfortunately her family was not in support and discouraged her because 'Artistes' were seen as 'Losers' in the part of the world she lived.

However, she rediscovered her passion for the Arts in her Teen years when she came upon a Theatre Troupe's rehearsals (YODRAC PLAYHOUSE) in Church (St Dominic's Yaba).... but she had to relegate her Music career to the background because she had no support and Music being an expensive business, she thought it wise to focus on Acting and Dancing in order to raise funds to sponsor her Music.

Unfortunately, she became so sick that she was constantly out of work and unable to make ends meet for too long. Neglecting her music made her voice degenerate.

After her recovery about two years ago, she resumed work in Theatre Arts, Music and Films but Corona came and seemed to hold her back.

True to her resilient nature and her conviction that Singing and Dancing is her first love and her 'calling'... she is back in the studios, inspite of all odds, despite much limitations OMA SOFTSPOT is definitely an Artiste to look out for.
