Newcomer Omerah Six is a British-Pakistani R&B/Soul singer-songwriter from West London. Omerah hopes to present her emotional unrest through the lens of introspective releases inspired by the likes of Amy Whinehouse, Erykah Badu, Adele, and Lauryn Hill. According to the budding voice, music has and continues to free her from a place of hurt. It’s therapeutic and is bound to be a highlight of her many releases to come.
Her debut single ‘So Cold’ which was picked as the song of the week on BBC Introducing: Asian Network (15.2) came from her personal motivation to break from a cycle of unreciprocated love. Omerah began to notice the more honest she was with herself, the more obvious it became that all this emotional trauma was partly due to her actions and self-neglect.
