In the heart of Boulder, CO, a peculiar convergence of time and fate brought together four friends. It all began in the year 2215, the not so distant future. Carmen Michael Yon III, a time-traveling prodigy, first discovered the lost art of music through ancient texts from the 21st century. His skills were unmatched, and his beats could bend the fabric of space-time. He was transported back to the 2020s—more specifically, to Boulder, CO. Calder Haubrich, a bard from the year 1602, arrived in Boulder via a rift in the timeline. When he stumbled upon Carmen, the two instantly knew they shared a purpose. Their mission was clear: to write sick tunes. Next to join the fold was Harrison Peña, a nomadic dreamer from the far-flung year 4023, where music had become a virtual construct, a thing of data rather than soul. His arrival in Boulder was a complete accident—an unintended drop through a wormhole. Upon landing, he was instantly captivated by the unique fusion of organic sound in the 21st century, where guitars, drums, and voices still resonated with humanity’s raw emotion. And last but certainly not least, there’s Nathan Burak, a shaman from 4000 BCE, who had spent lifetimes exploring the spiritual power of sound. As the last member of the crew, Nathan emerged from an ancient tomb, drawn to Boulder by an unexplained force. Nathan’s connection to sound was mystical, ethereal—like the vibrations of the universe itself. And so, On the Dot was born.
