Rock’n’Oi! From the gutters of Karlskrona, south east Sweden.
In the beginning of 2009 four friends formed the earliest incarnation of On The Job.
A quick demo with 4 songs was recorded after a few rehearsals, shortly after that Contra Records from Germany took some interest in the band. It’s been the label of choice since then, they have released 3 albums and are currently in the process of releasing the 4th album.
The band has seen a few members passing by through the years but kept the sound intact, and is still playing music drenched in beer and infused by raw power. After a short break in 2018, the band reunited at end of 2019. New members Filip on drums & Mikael on guitar, brought new energy to the remaining band which is Chris on vocals, Masse on guitar and Kenny on bass.
A new album called “Small Town Stories” featuring the so far released singles “We’re Back” & “City of Boredom” is released June 4th 2021, It’s recorded & produced by the band in the basement they call their studio.
