On The Line fuses a unique blend of alternative-progressive rock music with driving rhythms, ambient layers and lyrics abundant with imagery.
This college-age band from greater Grand Rapids, MI began in 2011 with founding members Ryan Jamgotch on lead vocals and guitar and Frank Tuka V on guitar and backing vocals. Their rhythm section, since 2015, includes Calvin Garvey on bass guitar and backing vocals and Zach Dubay on drums.
The band’s sound most closely resembles The Mars Volta, Swans, Porcupine Tree and Rush.
