One For The Many

Swedish alternative rock band One For The Many believes in writing music for the 99%. Inspired by bands like Muse and Imagine Dragons, their music is infused with a rebellious spirit.

Discussing their artistic preferences, the band relays, “We write about the world, and we tell the truth as we see it”. This honest perspective imbibes their music with strong political values, “In the everlasting struggle between the elites and the people, we are on the side of the people”.

Formed in 2019 by Joel Melin and Kevin Klasson, both members describe experiencing instant artistic chemistry which made them start writing together after their first meeting.

The duo worked for two years until finding their sound, which they describe as “Melodic, yet experimental. Fierce, yet catchy. Fat drums, hard vocals and lush choirs accompanied by existential lyrics pertaining to humanity, politics and the deep journey of life.”

The two have released various singles since 2021, working in the distance over the years, “Rarely can we meet in person and come up with musical ideas together, but we will constantly expand on each other’s ideas over the internet through chat or video”.

The band got signed to Gothenburg-based Rexius Records in 2021. They’re now preparing for the release of various singles with the label.
