One Man Collaboration is comprised of one man, Garrett Lentz. The ‘collaboration’ is the different versions of himself and various ideas that come and go depending on the moment, day, week, month, year, etc. We all have different moods, styles, tastes, and preferences depending upon our circumstances, environments, and perspective. We are all in constant flux, and One Man Collaboration embodies that. It encourages the recognition and embracement of our various ‘selves’ and to remain open to possibilities without unnecessarily restricting or putting oneself into a “category” or “box”. Garrett calls this “keeping the channel open”.
The ‘collaboration’ is also recognition that Garrett gives to his loved ones and community. That although he is a solo artist, it is the people who surround and support him who have helped shape the person he is today and the creations he has made. It’s the acknowledgment that we are all individuals, and yet a collective, all at the same time.
One Man Collaboration is the recognition and synthesis of all past, present, and future selves in addition to the influence and impact that others can have on the life of oneself and vice versa.
