Only the Valiant

Only the Valiant hail from Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) New Zealand, forming back in Dec 2020 the band came about when these three friends decided to just form there own band and step away from from what was deemed popular in the city that surrounds them.. with their 1st single ‘Nothing’ released in 2022 a song showcasing the rock pop elements of the band and their second single ‘Maria’ released in 2023 showcasing the Brazilian influence in the band due to Brazilian born bass player Diogo or aptly named Just Joe to those that know him. Their ongoing music creating continues to push the norm and morph into something so much bigger. With electric stage performances where it’s not uncommon for singer and frontman Jay to play guitar with his teeth and behind his head and attitude that even the biggest artists in the world would struggle to recreate. Only the Valiant are one foot in the blues and one whole leg in your gf’s sheets.
Aptly described as “like being slapped in the face by a wet fish”, and the modern day Rory Gallagher meets Stone Temple Pilots. Keep an eye out for there new single Controller.
