Onsoul has been deep in music since age nine, creating trippy, soulful grooves that hold you in the moment. His sound was refined for years in a bedroom studio after leaving his home country for college in 2022, staying on an academic path on paper while chasing the dream he truly obsesses over.
In 2023, &ME (Keinemusik) played his secret rework of Khanyisa, giving an early spotlight to his name. His debut release Ladinho, later earned support from techno icon Richie Hawtin, Pablo Fierro, Innellea, and MEDUZA. Now comes Lovetime, on Tortuga Records: a collaboration w Legare and Paul Brenning that explores a dreamier side of his sound and gently reminds us to look around while its all still here.
Onsoul sharpened his DJ skills in São Paulo’s secret raves and a local club called ‘Nine7’ before stepping onto stages like Brazil’s renowned D-Edge, Boston’s Province 44, and New York’s Nunsense by DHB—sharing lineups with names like Âme, Jimi Jules, Moblack, Echonomist, Ahmed Spins, and more. Beyond the booth, he co-founded Dance Different, an avant-garde label/event collective whose events have been steadily growing across Brazil, with releases supported by Detroit techno godfather Kevin Saunderson, Echonomist, and Julya Karma.
