Oobie’s angelic voice is an international treasure that is considered to be "Liquid Gold.” She has been sampled time and time again by various hip hop artists who instantly fall in love with her smooth melodies and lyrical concepts. Her song "Give Me Your Lovin” was sampled by Drake & 21 Savage in the Smash Hit Song "Spin Bout U” which debuted at #5 on The Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and is currently nominated for "Best Melodic Rap Performance” in the 66th annual Grammy awards.
Oobie has been nominated for several other awards including The Soul Train "Lady of Soul" Award and she has won several ASCAP Plus Awards for her songwriting. Her Production/Publishing Company OOB Productions now has RIAA Certifications totaling more than 10 million units of sound recordings sold.
