Born in Washington, D.C. as an army brat, OPA Tay Forye aka LaMonte’ Singletary has moved around a lot. He believes the mix of locational culture allows reasoning for the versatility in his music. Tay was first introduced to rapping in the 3rd grade with now long time friend and fellow OPA (One hundred Percent Approved) artist, OPA J Millz. It was evident that LaMonte’ had a natural talent which then led to now having over 9,800 plays on several songs on SoundCloud.
