OPTIMA is a dynamic college-born band formed through a series of random auditions — a group of individual musicians who started as strangers but found undeniable chemistry through music. Originally assembled to represent their academic program in Battle of the Bands competitions, OPTIMA quickly rose to prominence, earning back-to-back championship titles.

Specializing in high-energy live performances and the competitive artistry of battle of the bands stages, OPTIMA delivers a sound that blends precision, emotion, and unity. The band is composed of Shelley Margaux Reyes (vocals), Jaron Christopher Canceran (lead guitar), Kurt Sherwin Ty (rhythm guitar), Jacob Emmanuel Orencia (bass), and John David Sebastian (drums).

Their debut single, “Aaminin,” marks the beginning of their musical journey — a heartfelt confession that captures the band’s passion, depth, and drive to connect through sound.
