Opus VII began as hobbie among friends, and stayed this way until the reléase of the first LP "Prima Opus Magnum". This journey took several detours, including the final singer in the band.
Once the sound of the band is established with this new line-up, began the composition of new material in a more harmonic and direct way, leaving aside the 7 minutes long somgs and create more compact and mature melodies.
This gave way the reléase of aun EP called "Odium Venusta" self produced and recorded in a home studio.
With this reléase, the sound of the band was set and began the writting of new material.
Already with 8 complete songs, was decided to record a new album, but the global pandemic reached the country and scuttled all kinds of advances.
It was thus that was decided not to waste time and took advantage of re-recording the 2016 LP, which was relaunched at the end of 2022 under the name "Odium Venusta Est". This EP combines the songs already released, along with 3 unpublished ones.
Finally, and after all the setbacks, the long-awaited LP “Noumeno” is released, which reflects the growth of the band both compositionally and interpretatively.
