Or Shovaly Plus a guitar-based jazz funk ensemble, often played as an organ trio with/without horns, that encompasses a modern take on classic jazz/funk (influenced by hip hop and neo-soul). The projects under Or Shovaly Plus beautifully weaves together various musical influences from guitarist Or Shovaly's life journey. Based in New Orleans, Or's experiences in the city have deeply shaped the band's sound.

Or Shovaly Plus encompasses a diverse array of musical projects distinguished by their instrumentation. Among these are acoustic ensembles, which may feature guitar trios often accompanied by congas, solo guitar performances, as well as configurations with guitar and bass duos or arrangements incorporating guitar, bass, and horn sections. Additionally, electric ensembles are part of the repertoire, often played by an organ trio and where suitable, enhanced by two or three horns.
