Orange Car Crash

Orange Car Crash was birthed in 2015 from the mind of drummer and multinstrumentalist André- Marie-Davì.
Davì was already active since 2011 in the psych-rock scene, as a drummer for Mamuthones, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, Lay Llamas and as a co-founder of The Beautiful Bunker musical collective. His earliest composition are cinematic, mainly instrumental, influenced by ethno-musicology and by the italian soundtracks / library music tradition.
SIMPLE MUSIC, the first Orange Car Crash LP, entirely made by Davì, is released in 2016 on Was Ist Das? (US/UK).
After a short span working on a solo liveset, Davì decides to start a band, which debuts on October 26th 2016.
In their first years of live activity in the underground italian circuit, the band has created a new repertoire and their sound is now more psych-oriented and influenced by band like Can and Morphine; nevertheless, the OCC sound remains strongly uncatalogable and peculiarly non- derivative.
OCC headed to the studio in different occasions between 2018 and 2019, capturing the sound of the whole band playing live. Nine songs selected from these sessions now compose the OPPOSITION LP.
