Orisha is a singer songwriter based in Nottingham. Having taken her name from African spirituality, Orisha is an artist who is using her music to connect with herself, her femininity and her roots. Orisha has been singing since a child and always had a passion for making music. She writes, produces and mixes her own songs having studied at Dbs University. Her sound has many influences from old school RnB and reggae to indie and rock, Orisha hoped to combine these sounds and create a listening experience that connects with an audience.
Being classically trained in flute and self taught in piano and guitar, Orisha brings both the music theory knowledge and the raw connection with music into her songs.
