Ornsteen - fun and excitement from Nuremberg. Four friends from Nuremberg got together in 2016 to make music and none of them had a clue on what kind of journey they would go. Inspired by one of the most iconic bosses from „Dark Souls“, Ornsteen aims to give audiences an experience they will never forget. Heavy guitar riffs on grooving drum beats and rough, powerful vocals: The band combines modern & classic elements of groove metal and sludge with stoner vibes to create their own music style "Grudge". The musical creativity of the band is also significantly inspired by the individual taste of each member. From heavy metal and hard rock to doom and blues influences, everything is included.
After winning the "Kick out the Band" contest in Würzburg in 2019, Ornsteen went to the Spiral Music Studio to record their first single Blackwood. In mid-2021 Ornsteen warmed up the audience for the italian metalcore group Dead Like Juliet as part of their "Rebellion Tour". The first EP "Grudge EP" with 4 songs was released in July 2022.
Ornsteen continues to excite every audience with their relaxed and grounded stage presence. They always set themselves a goal: both the audience and the band should leave the concert with a smile.
