Salsa orchestra for over 50 years, originally from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Founded by bassist and director Roberto Rivera in 1974. La Orquesta La Solución is characterized by its unique style, with the sound of 4 trombones and by its singers who have passed through the orchestra. Such as: Tato Rico, Papo Sánchez, Frankie Ruiz, among others. The most outstanding being Jaime "Megüí" Rivera, brother of the director and who performed many of the hits throughout the career of La Solución. The orchestra has received distinguished recognitions on the Latin and international stages such as: The Diplo Award of Puerto Rico, the Salsa Trophy of Lima, Peru, Colombian Pergamino Costeñidad, Record World of New York, Golden Owl of Panama, Breakthrough Orchestra of the Year in Puerto Rico, Musical Ambassadors of the City of Mayagüez for the World and Gold and Platinum Records for their record productions in which songs like "La Rueda" and "Al aire una Canita", among others were recognized.
