Orthostat is a Death Metal band from Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil, formed in 2015, their sound has a dark and heavy atmosphere and at the same time brutal and aggressive, referring to the old school Death Metal of the 90s, such as Incantation, Autopsy and Malevolent Creation; with added Doom Metal elements and complex time signatures.
