Os Ex-Fumantes

Os Ex-Fumantes (or The Ex-Smokers, if you will) is a Brazilian band formed in 2017 by Lucas Mendes Gabriel, Eliel Simões, Vinícius Almeida and Guilherme Doratioto.
Resulting from different bands each member had in the past, the band started just for fun, to produce and record some songs that the lead singer, Lucas Mendes, had never worked on before.
Some of those songs became the EP "Brazilian Max" (2017) that, unexpectadly so, got some local and international attention. Since then, the band's played in several music festivals and art venues.
Being fetured in the french newspaper Libération, the band has played in some French radio stations, also playing in radio stations in Brazil, Canada and the USA.
The band is signed with Crooked Tree Records in Brazil and Marly Records in the USA, recently having its first US Release - "Brazilian Max EP" in cassette, that features also demos and unreleased tracks from that time.
Os Ex-Fumantes are working on their first full lenght album - "A Hora de Errar" ("The time to make mistakes", if you will), to be released in the second semester of 2018.
