Behind the decks since 2012, Oscar Joyy has built a name as one of Copenhagen’s rising DJs, playing at many of Denmark’s leading clubs and supporting acts like Ferreck Dawn. A skilled multi-instrumentalist and producer in Logic Pro, he has also completed a production certificate and masterclass with Toolroom Academy, leading to his debut release on Toolroom Trax.
Early life: Before his DJ career, Oscar Joyy spent 12 years on stage with the Royal Danish Ballet at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, ending his promising dance career at just 19. Drawing on that discipline and artistry, he now channels the same passion into electronic music – delivering high energy, tight grooves and infectious beats across tech house, minimal tech and indie dance.
