Alternative rapper, Uaild is born in Isernia but soon he moves to Calabria where he grows up with his family. He approaches music at middle school where he learns to play the electric bass, and moves his first steps into rap and music production during the first year of high school. He is one of the founder of the hip hop group “Kalandagruv” with two other members, with whom he travels the whole region to play at small concerts, freestyle contest, and warming up live shows like those for Inoki Ness, Hyst and Mezzosangue. After the high school he travels to Bologna where the musical research and activity gets more and more intense, rediscovering the old school sounds of hip hop and soul music, taking ispiration from the first Neffa. During summer 2016 he is one of the organizer of the festival “Body ‘n Soul- Ritmi Vitali”. Then he moves to Rome, his songs are counter-trending respect to the rest of the rap scene, and that’s what makes his songs original and allows him to change his sound without changing his roots and writing style.
