Oskar is the name he would have had if he had been born in London. And when his music began to draw heavily on UK vibes, he naturally adopted it. Originally from Tours and now based in Paris, he skillfully blends his UK Garage, House, and Drum and Bass influences. His releases, which represent his universe of minimalist melodies and deep bass lines, make no secret of his Bass Music influences.
His project Youth, released in January 2025, is a good example of this—between airy breaks and soft melodies, he reveals a touching, spontaneous, and resolutely personal universe. A founding member of the Host collective, his talent has also found resonance within the Meltin' collective, allowing him to develop his musical aesthetic on the local and national scene.
On the production side, Oskar has a string of releases to his name: EPs, remixes, edits, collaborations... always with a refined, organic, and sensitive touch. The artist has promoted his project on stage at venues such as Kilowatt, Glazart, Virage, and Rinse with [Re]sources, and has shared the stage with artists such as Hedex, Habstrakt, Efan, and more.
