Osmium - True Norwegian Sludge Metal
The trio, consisting of guitarist Johannes Wulff Andreassen Wick and drummer Mikkel Buøen (former members of Døsk) aswell as vocalist and bassist Olliver Johan Eltervaag Fuglestein founded Osmium in the early spring of 2024. Ever since, their straight forward stoner-doom inspired style of sludgemetal from the harsh west coast of Norway, has gained attraction among local metalheads, aswell as others from all around the country. Texts about drug-abuse, poverty, love, death, and blasphemy, accompanied by heavy down-tuned riffs, flesh-tearing vocals, and hard hitting drums are common themes in the bands music.
In the cold february of 2025, Osmium recorded their six track EP called "Betong Monolitt". "Slegge" which is the opening song of the EP was released as a single the first of june 2025, and was well recieved by their fans. The rest of the five tracks have no set release date as of yet.
