Oswald doesn't like the limelight, and would've loved to have made it as a songwriter. But being unsuccessful in this regard, and as someone who struggles with co-writing (but hopes to get better at it someday), he resorted to releasing his own music as a Christian artist.
Oswald took classical piano lessons as a child, but following his non-amicable split with his teacher, he took an interest in pop music, improvising and playing by ear. However he still enjoys some R&R (Ravel and Rachmaninov) every now and again.
