“grief is love without a home” is a eulogy to the person I thought I was. Every once in a while, someone enters your life, and time shifts. Suddenly everything either happened before them or after.
Every song on this EP was written in one sitting. I wanted the imperfection of the recordings and vocals to reflect the dissonance in emotion I was feeling. The background noises allude to the lingering feelings that tainted all my new experiences.
I spent a long time trying to discover who I was after giving all I was. So many people have rallied around me (most unknowingly) and given my love a home.
I can put these songs to rest. They’re yours if you want them.
