Other Memories is a generation of young musicians facing the realities of life and asking questions about who we are in society, and why we were never taught how to navigate adulthood. The band was formed in 2017 at university by Diego Sandi and Diego Estrada, who shared a passion for metal music and a desire to break away from the conventional path expected of young adults.
The band's sound is rooted in metal, with metalcore as the main subgenre, fused with punk-rock riffs and groovy elements. Their music features heavily distorted guitars and bass, a dual vocal style (screams and clean vocals), powerful and dynamic drums, and a blend of synths that create a modern, atmospheric sound.
