Otter

Nacido en Lima, Perú con el nombre de Alvaro Rondón, Otter es un artista pop, house y electrónico en busca de la evolución sonora permanente. Con influencias marcadas como Moenia, Skrillex, Lady Gaga, Manu Chao y Björk, ha logrado crear su propio sonido apostando también por la fusión con la música afroperuana, andino contemporánea y ritmos peruanos como el vals. Otter se sabe dueño de un don compulsivo para contar historias tan crudas como realistas, mismas que acosan al artista hasta existir en papel o en su ordenador. Otter es el vocablo inglés que significa Nutria, el animal símbolo del músico y un recordatorio de su inefable conexión con la fuerza salvaje de la naturaleza contenida en su alma hiperactiva, vehemente e imparable.

Born Alvaro Rondón in Lima, Peru, Otter is a pop, house and electronic artist in search of permanent sound evolution. With marked influences such as Moenia, Skrillex, Lady Gaga, Manu Chao and Björk, he has managed to create his own sound, also betting on the fusion with Afro-Peruvian, contemporary Andean music and Peruvian rhythms such as the Vals. Otter knows he owns a compulsive gift for telling stories as raw as they are realistic, the same ones that harass the artist until they exist on paper or on his computer. Otter is the English word meaning Nutria, the musician's symbol animal and a reminder of his ineffable connection to the wild force of nature contained in his hyperactive, vehement and unstoppable soul.
