Ouma Wa Mafegi

Ouma wa Mafegi is a rapper, songwriter, recording and performing artist based in Kilimani, Nairobi, Kenya. He has attained an underground following as part of the new age, buzzing Kilimani Hip Hop movement, which he is a pioneer of as well

He has been involved in several hit singles such as Fanya Like This by Sabi Wu , Dunda by Korb$ , as well as his and the aforementioned artists biggest hit to date WACHA NIREST, which has since become a beloved classic track.
He released his debut solo EP KILIMANI BABY with various features from the previously mentioned artists as well as Kahu$h , Mi$taK and others.He has involved himself with several renowned producers such as Michael Carpenter, 9TEEN and An21 KE. His chemistry in particular with 9Teen brought forth the track Rada Ni Gani off 9Teens album SIDE HUSTLE, and they built on this by collaborating on Ouma's solo debut album VILLIAN YEAR, which released in February 2023.
Ouma Wa Mafegi has continued to prove this lyrical and sonic prowess with his album "Overnight conversations" executively produced by fellow Kenyan producer Kxffy which he also dropped in 2023. His consistency in terms of releases as well as features continues to keep him relevant not only as an artist but as a pioneer in the Kilimani and Kenya rap scene as a whole.
Ouma Wa Mafegi in 2024 also released a the collaborative album Neighborhood heroes with fellow Kilimani artist Genes1s and most recently was the main feature in the electric track Ikitoka.
