Deriving their name from the quote “Until the day we meet our last enemy, which is death itself,” Sydney-based industrial-metal outfit Our Last Enemy explore the fine line between the unseen and the seen, oblivion and nirvana, through a sonic synergy of cascading synths, heavy riffs, haunting vocals and blistering live show.
Having shared the stage with Machine Head, Fear Factory, Cradle of Filth, Static X, Combichrist, Perturbator, Powerman 5000, Dope, Prong, Mnemic & Pain, Our Last Enemy are seasoned performers and a force to be reckoned with in the live arena.
Most recently the band dropped the EP’s ‘As Above So Below’ & ‘As Within So Without’ both mixed by ARIA-nominated producer D.W. Norton (Superheist, Alchemist, Sydonia, Frankenbok, Frenzal Rhomb, Mindsnare) and features legendary skinsman John Sankey (Fear Factory, Divine Heresy, Devil You Know, Devolved) on drums. The EP’s received rave 10/10 reviews and garnered national airplay & coverage with features on Heavy Mag, Hysteria Mag, Maniacs, Triple J & Triple MMM, with ‘AASB’ hitting 26 on the Aria independent charts and the tracks ‘Never Coming Back’ and ‘The Holy Ones’ landing on The Factions ‘Hardest 100’ 2020 countdown. ‘Never Coming Back’ also featured on the soundtrack to the TROMA film ‘Eating Miss Campbell’.
