Outsidah

Ruben Almeida, known by his stage name Outsidah, was born on June 4th, 1995, in the Azores. He moved to Bermuda with his family at the age of 2, before returning to São Miguel island at 11, where he faced intense bullying. This difficult period sparked his passion for music, using writing and rapping as a way to cope and express himself.

Inspired by legends like Eminem, Tupac, Biggie, and Nas, Outsidah started crafting his own lyrics, with Eminem being his biggest influence. In 2019, he joined Fusion Productions, a collective he formed with childhood friend Guilherme Pacheco (GUII) and video producer André Saudade, which helped shape his sound and career.

In 2023, Outsidah released his debut solo album REBORN, featuring 13 tracks that explore themes of resilience and self-discovery. One of the standout songs, Transcending, is a collaboration with his sister, Bianca Almeida, adding a personal touch to his journey.
